Took the ferry across to Miyajima island that we stayed at for 2 days. Miyajima is most famous for its giant , which at high tide seems to float on top of the water. The sight is ranked as one of Japan's three best views.
The island is a known as a shrine and is very beautiful, its thought to be a sacred place.
There are wild deer on the island that have become accustomed to people. In the day the deer wander around the same sites as the tourists.
You have to watch your belongings as they eat most things :p This one was trying to eat my purse in my pocket so I was a bit worried :)
We visited the Itsukushima shrine that was right behind the torii gate (which is in the sea) it also gets packed with school trips and tourists.
Five storey pagoda.
These are a steamed bun which had minced beef inside it was yummy :p
We didn`t fancy the conger eel.
