Arrived at Takayama in the Japan Alps about 150 km from Magome.
The Lion Head above is used in japanese dance/festivals and is supposed to make you more clever if you are bitten on the head by one. :) I wanted to buy one but the were to expensive :(
Bright colours in the shrines.
These are called Rickshaws and you can get a man to pull you around the town (sort of like a taxi but slower :P)
Takayama Bridge that at different times in the year festivals with big floats gather on it.
These are the private listed/preserved houses and shops in Takayama old town they are very pretty.
